Just a few shots that reflect the "details", photos that bring forth an emotion to the couple - moments in time from their special day!
Lisa & Leland.....Married at Last
April 12th, 2008 was the date that Lisa & Leland chose to exchange their vows,
"....and the two shall become one..."
The setting for their "Barn Dance" reception was rustic and full of good ole' fashion country charm, including the western band that performed live in the family's barn. There was plenty of dancing, entertainment and congratulating going on.
Keep watching for additional photos.....
Hope you enjoy!
A Moment....
An evening spent at the "bridge", the weather was cool and a bit windy, but how quickly I forgot all that when I started to focus on the incredible beauty that surrounded me....the reflections in the river, the lighting as it was quickly changing from evening to sundown, one of my most favorite times of the day --- when everything in God's world settles in for the night and becomes quiet.
RMSP....Looking forward to July
Yes, I'm already looking forward to July, as I'll be attending a week long class titled "The Art of Macro" at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography....if you've never heard of it or participated in any of RMSP's workshops you are truly missing an awesome experience. I had the pleasure of attending a week long class last summer and thoroughly loved it. Check out their website for a peek at all their incredible classes offered - the school is located in beautiful Missoula, Montana - so what's not to love about it.
Can't wait......
ABOUT WEDDINGS.....
Do I shoot weddings....????
Of course I do! I love shots that are "Up Close & Personal", digging in and capturing those details and moments that most people would not even realize exist, thus I like to use a 2nd Shooter, which allows me the freedom to do just that!
I've had the incredible opportunity of working with another photographer whose primary focus is weddings....who is she....Lavinda L. Hedman of "Forever Yours Photography" - check out her link for a sneak preview.
Working together and combining our unique styles allows us to provide you with an amazing array of photos that cover the entire spectrum of your special day - from beginning to end, and everything in between.
If you're in the market for an awesome duo to shoot your Wedding Day, we are your team....call me!

Yes, the 4 Busy Whites....I had the awesome privilege of taking photos of this adorable family while in Southern California over the Easter Holiday. And they truly are busy, as daddy was heading off to work right after the photo shoot, and their oldest daughter was heading off to Washington D.C. and New York the very next day, phew.... But aren't they the most adorable family....? Ok, so I'm being partial, after all they are our children and grandchildren. :)
The setting, Mountain River Ranch.... The occasion, "Engagement".... Lisa & Leland brought along a surprise to their engagement photo shoot, or should I say three....Leland's two beautiful children and a horse named "Pete"! The weather was awesome, and the scenery even better. Watch for the wedding photos coming soon. Their big day is Saturday, April 12th - I will be doing that shoot together with Lavinda Hedman of "Forever Yours Photography", and once again, I'll be working as the second photographer (just the way I like it for weddings).
These two adorable children are the "bonus" part of the package deal for Lisa when she says "I Do" to Leland....
This little family was so fun to photograph, and the setting was beautiful......once again, I was working as a second photographer on this shoot with Lavinda Hedman.
Innocent beauty.....that's Lisa! What an awesome day we had up in Zion (Springdale, Utah) just havin' fun....Lisa allowed my cousin and I to take pics to our heart's content - and we did just that! Thank you Lisa for being such a beautiful model....a day I'll never forget.
My model, my mentor, my cousin....thank you for allowing me to photograph you - for being my model, for sharing a common ground with me, "the love of photography". You continue to be an inspiration to me, each and every time we go out shooting together!
What an incredible young mother-to-be.....my dear friend Kaci allowed me to capture the essence and beauty of her - expecting their first child, a son whose name would become "Jackson".....I'm waiting with anticipation to take his photo this summer when we meet up with Kaci, Brad & Jackson in Boise. Thank you Kaci - you are so beautiful!
My first wedding, thankfully not alone, but as the "second photographer"....alongside another photographer whose primary focus is weddings - I'll be adding her link soon so you can see some of her amazing wedding photos, so be watching for "Forever Yours Photography" by Lavinda L. Hedman.
I'll never forget this first photo shoot.....not only will it hold special memories for me as my "first" real photography job, but because these two beautiful people are dear friends of ours.....will be for a lifetime....Thank you Brad & Kaci for letting me get started with you!
