After returning from RMSP, and experiencing "The Art of Macro", our classmates decided that we all bonded so well during our class that we should stay in touch. One of our class members set up a "Family" site where we can all post news, photos, and stay in touch. We have a monthly assignment to complete, with the subject matter changing each month. The "assignment" for August was macro shots of anything "green - outside"...some of the green shots I've included were from last month's assignment. Still waiting to hear what we're going to shoot this next month, but enjoying the variety of photos that all of the class members are posting. Hope you enjoy!
I was recently contacted by RMSP (Rocky Mountain School of Photography) to submit a comment/statement and some of my photos taken in "The Art of Macro" class which I attended back in July this year - all as consideration for possible use in their "Student Focus" portion of their annual course catalog. I was extremely honored that they would even consider using my story and photos....so I'm sharing a few of the selected photos that I submitted to them. Whether or not they use my input and images, it was a great boost of confidence that I'd even be considered.
I had the wonderful opportunity of assisting my dear friend and cousin as the "2nd Shooter" for Brittany & Tyler's pre-wedding formal session. They are such a beautiful couple, and so fun and adventureous....for more awesome shots take a look at the link for "Forever Yours Photography"....their downtown urban shots are awesome.
Enjoy!
Sheena & Tyler's reception was held in a beautiful setting - a private home where the yard sloped directly into flowing water, the trees were wrapped with colorful bows, and the decorations were outstanding - brilliant ribbons and flowers of orange, green, yellow, and pink. Everything was perfect, including the weather.
Thank you Lavinda, for asking me to be your "Second Shooter" at this wedding - I had a wonderful time! Sheena & Tyler's personalities are infectious, and their happiness is reflected in every one of their photos.
